The concensus so far is not to bother with a gaming keyboard but a mouse might be worthwhile. Yep, and don't underestimate a (relatively) cheap logitech or ms intellisense mouse. If you do a little googling there are some models out there with excellent sensors and polling speeds for $40-$60.
