WebAug 21, 2024 · The GPU wrote a solid color to the framebuffer, perhaps in error, or per CPU command (unlikely, unless driver issue. ) Most all PCs have/get intermittent memory bits. Severity increases as memory chip gets hot, or memory is used alot, or "in a bad location" (like where critical drivers reside). WebOct 31, 2024 · Just to note whilst having the GPU out of the machine I have not had any stability issues/crashes at all. As soon as I plugged the card in I was getting multiple WHEA-Logger event ID 17 warnings a second. And unfortunately, a crash within 2 hours of having the card back in. WebFeb 16, 2024 · Now it crashes with anything related to graphics, even if the load is light. I've tried doing a GPU stress test with Unigine Heaven and it crashed within 2 minutes of that. I used MSI Afterburner to monitor what was happening and within less than 2 minutes, the GPU would go from 30ish degrees to 70 degrees and then it would crash.
