Web5 feb. 2024 · 1) My T1010 has had intermittent 'won't switch on from the remote' for ever but this can normally be cured by a main switch off/on 2) Last week, the machine froze on 'white circle on' but totally frozen. It is not possible to obtain the firmware or a USB stick with the firmware on, which I can understand, they probably don't want people being able to 'hack' the boxes. Web13 jan. 2015 · AFAIK premature disk failure in the T1000/1010 boxes is caused by the PSU capacitors drifting off spec. If you did get your box working again with a different disk, if you didn't replace the capacitors as well, preferably with better quality ones than the originals, the chances are that the new disk would soon fail.
