WebHi, I have a VM running HomeAssistant OS. I’m able to access the Home Assistant UI via LAN using IP:8123. I set up port forwarding on my router to allow external access from port 91234 which is pointing to the VM IP on port 8123, but I’m unable to connect externally. WebJul 24, 2024 · You need to specify the port number when attempting to access Home Assistant as you are forwarding 8123 → 8123. If you used 443 (external) → 8123 (internal) you could leave off the port number as 443 is the default port for https.
